- The Greenforest Community Baptist Church served as the host church for
the World Vision Experience: AIDS Exhibit,
in March
of 2009. The event drew over 3000 visitors to the
exhibit which was designed to look and feel like an African village, allowing
visitors to realistically experience - in a very personal way - the lives of
children whose communities have been devastated by AIDS. World Vision
is deploying the Experience as part of a partnership with Greenforest to
reach mutual goals of educating the community about AIDS, inspiring visitors
to make a difference, and bringing assistance and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those suffering.
You can participate in providing ongoing AIDS
Caregiver Kits. Call 404-486-1120 to make contributions.
